In July, along with Bristol Water and Kidney Care UK, we had the pleasure of being invited to visit the Renal Dialysis Unit at Southmead Hospital in Bristol.
It was very humbling and eye-opening to see the fantastic work that our wonderful NHS does supporting dialysis patients and chatting with some of those having treatment.
Understanding the challenges and struggles that people with chronic kidney disease (CKD) have to deal with first hand really highlights the importance of our partnership and how we need to support our customers living with CKD.

How can you get involved in showing support to people with kidney disease - join Kidney Care UK's October Dog Walking Challenge!
The Challenge will see supporters and their #KidneyK9s aiming to walk 35 miles across the month of October. These 35 miles are for the 3.5 million people living with kidney disease in the UK.
How can you take part:
Join the October Dog Walking Challenge Facebook Group.
- Register here to create your Facebook fundraiser to claim your FREE #KidneyK9 dog bandana
- Share your fundraising page to raise £150 for Kidney Care UK
- Get walking on 1 October!
If you don't have Facebook and would like to still take part, you can create your fundraising page on JustGiving instead.
They would love your support in sharing or joining the challenge with your four-legged friends. If you have any questions, there are a list of full FAQs in the Facebook group.
