We are really excited to let you know that, in partnership with Bristol Water, we have our first data share with a local authority.
Beginning in February, South Gloucestershire Council will be providing details of mutual customers who have contacted them and are in financial crisis with their council tax bill. These customers are consenting to share information with us.
This data will allow us to reach out to these customers and see how we can support them through our various affordability schemes. This is a really important first step forward for both companies. It will allow us to use this pilot as a blueprint and something we hope to replicate with other local authorities’ future.
We will keep you updated on the outcome of the pilot and our future plans.
